Sunset at Green Park

Smiling faces as we rest
orange juice and carrot cake
just for the birds
to forget few minutes of confusion
in Sara's heart
while waiting at Harrods door 6

Here people come and go
a pound for a chair
everybody eats or drinks
and the old man reads the paper
holding two beer cans.

This is life on a Friday afternoon
as the sun goes away
happiness and laughter
nobody is rushing
everything quiet and calm.
